Common questions
Why does the filter matter?
Smaller openings hold smaller bone particles. The Tobra Bone Basket’s openings are about 16 times smaller.
How was bone loss tested?
In lumbar fusion cases, the two collectors were run one behind the other on the same suction line. With Stryker Bone Vac first, over 20% of the bone passed through its filter and was caught by the Tobra Bone Basket behind it. With Tobra Bone Basket first, no bone reached the Bone Vac.
